I am so glad you are here!
Hey, my name is Alex (she/her)! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) offering in-person therapy in Fort Collins, Colorado and telehealth therapy throughout the state of Colorado. I work with adults (18+) navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and all the complicated stuff life throws our way.
My approach is laidback, genuine, and collaborative. I believe you already hold a lot of wisdom about yourself, and I’m here to help you make sense of things, feel more like yourself, and figure out what healing looks like for you.
Curious if we’d be a good fit? Reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. No pressure, just a chance to connect!

Counseling Services
Identity Exploration
Figuring out who you are can be messy, confusing, and sometimes really freeing. Whether you’re questioning old expectations, exploring different parts of your identity, or trying to feel more like yourself, you deserve space to figure it out without judgment.
Together, we’ll explore what matters to you, what feels authentic, and what you want your life to look like beyond everyone else’s expectations. My approach is curious, affirming, and collaborative, with room for the hard questions, the uncertainty, and the unexpected discoveries along the way.
Anxiety and Depression
I aim to create a supportive and understanding environment where you can explore your challenges and work toward meaningful change. My goal is to promote emotional wellness and empower you to lead a fulfilling and balanced life.
Informed by evidence-based therapies such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Somatic techniques. I aim to offer a person-centered approach that prioritizes your unique needs and experiences.
Trauma and PTSD
Trauma can leave deep and lasting effects on our emotional and physical well-being, but healing is possible. My trauma counseling services are tailored to help individuals navigate and recover from past experiences, whether they stem from a single event or ongoing challenges.
I provide a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space where you can explore your experiences at your own pace. Together, we will work to process difficult emotions, address the impact of trauma on your life, and build tools to help you regain safety, control, and confidence.

About
If you’re looking for a therapist who’s direct, laidback, and occasionally drops a swear word, we might be a good fit. I value genuine connection, which means I’ll show up as a real human being, not just a blank slate sitting across from you. I’ll honor your innate wisdom, challenge you when it feels helpful, and make room for all the messy, complicated, very human parts of being alive.
My office is a chill space that backs up to a walking path, so if getting outside and moving feels more your speed, walk-and-talk sessions are an option, too.
When I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me hanging out with friends and my Golden Retriever, Indiana “Indy” Bones. I love road trips, exploring new places, and hunting down the ultimate decaf latte...which is a difficult find, let me tell ya.
I believe therapists should go to therapy, and I believe community has the power to create radical healing. My own experiences navigating trauma shapes the way I show up for the people I work with, helping me create a space where you can feel safe enough to be real, take up space, and try something different. Being a therapist is something I consider a deep honor and privilege, and I don’t take that lightly.
